2015 Governor General's Gold Medal

Daniel U.Congratulations to Dr. Daniel Unterweger (Pukatzki lab) who has been selected as one of two winners of the 2015 Governor General's Gold Medal. This award recognizes the doctoral graduate who achieves the highest academic standing/cumulative scholarly achievement at the University of Alberta. Congratulations, Daniel! What an achievement! This was a two-day event, with a themed focus on “Scientific Responses to Economic Challenges and Opportunities”, assembled scientists and clinicians at the University of Alberta to facilitate collaborative efforts among colleagues, trainees, external partners and stakeholders who are working in the field of infectious diseases.
